Double Murder
Planned & Callous Murders
Do not visit Lahore:
On the 28th of June 2005 Sheikh Waqar Uddin, our eldest Paternal Uncles son calls Umer and Haider to tell them that their father Moid Uddin has passed away. Asma Khala and their sons are shocked to hear the News as there was no prior warning or concern regarding his health, nor were they aware of him being sick. They tell Waqar that they shall leave for Lahore as soon as possible; to which Shiekh Waqar Uddin says that they need not make the trip to Lahore and that they will take care of the funeral and burial of Moid Uddin. This was an incredibly odd suggestion, as there was no way Umer, Haider and Asma Khala were not going to go to Lahore to arrange the funeral of their father and khalas husband and try to understand what had happened to Moid.
Sheikh Waqar Uddin is the youngest son of Moids eldest brother, Immad Uddin (late) who passed away a long time ago. Waqars persistence that Asma Khala and their children should not visit Lahore on their fathers demise was a warning we later found out, we had missed. It was an attempt by Waqar to stop Asma Khala and their children from travelling to their fathers ancestral home 40-E Model Town, Lahore. Waqar lived at 40-E Model Town Lahore at the time of Moids death. Asma Khala and her children found the suggestion of them not going to Lahore to arrange their fathers funeral and burial preposterous.
Warning Letter:
A couple of days after mum and her sisters funeral, distressed Ms. Amtul, also a teacher, colleague and friend of Asma Khala came to visit Umer and Haider at their house in Wah Cantt. She brought with her a letter that she had received, written in Urdu, she let Umer and Haider read the letter but did not allow them to keep it nor take pictures of it. The letter was addressed to Asma Khala and was written in

Years prior to murdering my mother and Aunt, Iftikhar Uddin had visited our house in Islamabad and wanted to break the family by kidnapping our eldest sister Saimah Jalal Uddin. He did this as he knew, no one would be able to resist as it was only mum and us 5 kids at home. When mum resisted, he said he would take her away even if someone got killed today. This was his first life threat to mum, after which mum ran out of the house and knocked the neighbors door to seek help. The neighbors father handled the situation after warning Iftikhar Uddin that the police will be called if he did not leave. This failed attempt to kidnap Api added to his resentment towards mum.
A few months before murdering my mother and Aunt, Iftikhar Uddin had an altercation with Asma Khalas children, when they visited 40-E Model Town Lahore, their fathers expansive 2 Kanal paternal house, where both Moid and Iftikhar lived at the time. The Model Town police was called, who let Iftikhar Uddin off without any action being taken; calling it a domestic issue. After this incident Iftikhar Uddin threatened Haider Moid, Asma Khalas 2nd eldest son with death threats.
